"Great self build kit, really pleased with the finished product…. Makes suck a difference to the feel of the Zwift ride"
"I purchased this so I could build my own rocker plate to my own specs. I have a Stages sb20 which is a very heavy bike. Although it's fun to use the fact it's so solid and doesn't move at all leads to a very uncomfortable ride after about an hour which is aggravated further each time you stand out of the saddle. My rocker plate has pretty much sorted out all those problems with the added benefit of a much more natural feeling ride when put of the saddle. Being able to throw a stages sb20 from side to side when sprinting or climbing a hill completely different ride experience. The only problem I have at the moment is the reluctance of the rocker plate to move forward and back. The liner rod when it arrived and not attached to anything would alow the bearings to roll from side to side but sometimes even holding the rod vertical the bearings would not natural fall down the length of the rod. Despite a lot of lubrication this remained a problem. I have now built the rocker plate and with 13 stone me and a stages bike it seems to be freeing up especially as the two bladders start to stretch. Hopefully over time and more lubrication this will get better. When I first got the kit I was able to ask a lot of question to put my mind at ease about what I wad planning to do overall very happy."

"When I ride indoor over the winter months, I get lower back pains that has been at the level that I skipped my routine. Now after 10 days using the product I feel significant difference with my problem. The only thing that I changed was to put Turbo Rocks under the trainer."
"I made thee actual board from a product Called KING Star Board. It is a composite and 100 % water proof and antibacterial. 3/4" thick and machines very well. When I finish a work out I typically have a lake around me so this product is great and very easy to clean."
"Just finished the build, and after a short test ride feeling very satisfied. Instructions are really good, and Steven was also very quick to reply when there was issues with delivery."
"Quality components. Quick delivery. Delighted."
"After a lot of research on rocker plates and trainer motion solutions, I purchased the RealPlate React DIY kit, with fore & aft movement, from Turborocks. The DIY kit includes everything but the bottom and top plates. The kit parts appear to be very high quality. The kit is easy to assemble once the top and bottom plates are done. Making the plates can be as simple as cutting plywood with a jig saw and drilling the mounting holes or as complex as using a CAD program to customize the plates for your specific trainer and using 6 different power tools and numerous hand tools. This depends solely on your desire for the appearance and finish of the plates. I got a beautiful product at the end but it was a lot of work. I am semi-retired, have all the woodworking and hand tools, and the space necessary, so it was a fun project. If you want a nicely finished product without all the work or don't already have the tools and space, I would skip the kit and buy the finished product. As to performance, I am really happy with the result. The rocker plate is very comfortable and adds a dynamic dimension beyond just sitting and grinding out watts. This is no risk of tipping over, but if you want to stay straight up, you actually have to balance with minute body movements. Otherwise you will find yourself riding while leaning 6° to the right or left. I think the need to balance is beneficial, particularly for older riders where balance, unused, can deteriorate. I believe the rocker significantly relieves stress on your body and your bike frame. I would definitely go for the fore and aft movement model over just the side-to-side rocker. Steve, at Turborocks, was very helpful and responsive to my questions. Overall, great experience!"
